Buckeye is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona and is the westernmost suburb in the Phoenix metropolitan area. What was once a small rural town, it is now one of the top five fastest growing cities in the U.S. Buckeye is home to several master planned communities such as Tartesso, Verrado, and Festival Foothills, where new homes are being built at a record pace. At least 30 other master planned communities are slated to be future projects, including Douglas Ranch, set to accommodate 300,000 inhabitants. Outdoor recreations in Buckeye include, picnic, camping, hiking, biking and equestrian trails in the historic White Tank Mountains. Buckeye is also home to Desert Skydiving Center and Skydive Buckeye.

Waddell is an unincorporated community in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, northwest of the city of Phoenix. With the expansion of the city of Surprise, use of the name Waddell to describe the location is rapidly falling into disuse. Influence of the name can still be seen in the name of Waddell Road, an arterial street running through Surprise, as well as the New Waddell Dam at Lake Pleasant. In November 2010 the White Tank Regional Library opened.

Wittmann is a census-designated place in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It is located along U.S. Route 60 in the central part of Arizona, about 35 miles northwest of central Phoenix, and while technically located within the city's metropolitan area it is generally regarded by locals to be just outside it. As of the 2010 census, there were 6700 people living in the Wittmann area. The population density was 56.3 people per square mile.
